Fender Electric Club Violinist  IlseV  specialize in Dance & Trance Music.

She adds a new dimension to these styles and creates a mind blowing combination of live music in club environment and
has played Dance and Trance Parties with numerous prestigious artists like Paul van Dyk, Neelix, Above & Beyond,  Symphonix, Judge Jules, Lisa Lashes, Headroom, Pascal & Pearce, NickE Louder, Tony Finger.. She has shared the stage with world’s leading Cellist Master Yo-Yo Ma in the USA and The New Zealand Prime Minister

In 2012 she started recording her first Solo Dance album starting with a recording with Dj Carl Cox. Also earlier this year recorded with Rondarb for Snoop Dog, Xibit from "Pimp my Ride" & Apethy

In 2009 she once again performed in Hollywood with LA Hip Hop Duo as well as recorded for Kanye West’s label G.o.o.d Music.

In January 2012 she opened for Paul van Dyk @ Gatecrasher in Cape Town South Africa

This versatile violinist has played in more than 15 orchestras worldwide, transforming from Classical Concert Master playing for the King of Tonga, to a Solo Trance artist  where she creates a mind blowing combination of live music @ World Club Tours like Chemistry, Slinky, Gatecrasher...

   She has shared the stage with numerous prestigious artists in the House and Electro field  and has featured many times as guest artist with well known bands in Australia and New Zealand , South Africa and LA, like bass players from Midnight Oil and Blam Blam Blam, The Feelers, Halo Sailor,  Peter Urlich, Hayley Westenra, Satelite Spies..


IlseV was trained in Cape Town under top mentor Louis van der Watt (currently lecturor at Stellenbosch University) and regularly played and recorded for RSA radio & TV in all 6 major cities in South Africa and Namibia, as well as BBC.

She starred and played in a International Big Screen Ad for Dunhill Sigarettes by Saatchi & Saatchi.

She is also backed and sponsored by the Mutha FM radio station in Cape Town South Africa.

FENDER ELECTRIC VIOLIN

Ilse V took up the Fender Electric Violin in 2001, and started playing alongside DJ's in Cape Town's nightspots. As her career options grew, so did her audience, from hundreds to thousands. Combining her music with modelling and acting, she starred and played in a Big Screen ad for Star Kinekor for the Dunhill Cigarettes, The Symphony of Fire, an International Firework display for Saatchi & Saatchi.

She received her early violin tuition 1986-1994 under Louis van der Watt.
Referred to as "Violin Whizz" at the age of 12, she grew up on stage and performed in South African Parliament and in all 5 major cities in South Africa and Namibia. As a teenager she was already regularly recording and broadcasting with RSA radio and television. After winning the National Youths Strings Competition she was chosen to represent South Africa in Scotland, at the World Youth Festival, and to make recordings for BBC radio and television. Then chosen as one of only two scholarships in South Africa, she was a member of the World Youth Symphony Orchestra in the USA where she played alongside Cellist Master Yo-Yo Ma.
